THE RUN HOME: Fullertons on fire

Currently the Fullerton team of Red Cliffs are on a hot streak, training a double at Horsham Tuesday night and running a gallant fourth in the Group Listed $20,000 Rookie Short Course Pink Diamond Final at Geelong on Friday, June 13.

Nosey Parker was ultra impressive in his heat victory of the Group Listed $20,000 Rookie Short Course heat.

Missing the start from the wide draw he accelerated superbly to enter the corner running second, on railing through the corner Parker was trapped wide and found some interference.

However, on straightening was able to balance up and turn it into a two dog war in the run to the line as Parker and Touch Of Sin went bound for bound, Parker finished the better winning by a nose in a thrilling finish.

In the final Nosey drew the wide alley box eight and was always going to have his work cut out trying to cross the field, an inside draw would have made a huge difference.

Tuesday June 10 at Horsham saw the team lead in a double with See Saw Lass and Dash Express.

See Saw Lass put on a beautiful railing display, being midfield early and finding bother the fawn chaser switched back to the inside and through the corner railed extremely hard to hit the front turning for home and from there the race was over as she greeted the judge first by close to a four length margin in 23:91sec on a slow track.

Dash Express then stepped out over the 485m journey.

Last to get into stride Dash Express mustered up extremely fast and railed hard through the corner taking the lead swinging for home, once in front it was just a matter of times and margins as he scooted away to a four-length win in a good run on a slow track of 27:69sec.
