Game of the round sees Ararat and Eagles go head to head

Except for the game between Ararat and Warrack, all matches in this week's round of Wimmera Football Netball League A Grade netball are the bottom half of the ladder, versus the leaders of the league.

The clash between the fifth-placed Ararat and the currently placed seventh Warrack side will be held on the Eagles' home turf at ANZAC Park.

It's shaping up to be the game of the round, with other games including Stawell (sixth) and Saints (first), Dimboola (third) and Nhill (ninth) and Thunder (second) and Minyip Murtoa (eighth).

Ararat got their first and only win against Stawell back on April 18, claiming the game by 20 goals.

The Eagles, however, are still searching for their first win a couple of games in, but did record a draw last week against Minyip Murtoa.

Ararat coach Sally Noble is expecting Warrack to come out strong and keep the fight up until the final siren.

"They will have home support as well, so it will be tough," she said.

"And they will be looking for a win."

Noble said her side's all-around game is going well at the moment.

"The team most consistent over the four quarters will bring home the win," she said.

"If all the girls play to their normal standard, it should bring them home a united victory."
