Chaplain Yolande Grosser organised the celebration at lunchtime on Thursday, March 20, with the support of 21 student volunteers and the Wellbeing Team, ensuring a successful and inclusive gathering.

Students embraced the festivities by sampling cultural foods, including Vegemite sandwiches from the United Nations stand, tropical drinks from the Winning Words stand, and European spiced biscuits from the State of Origin stand.

They took part in language activities in German and Spanish, competed in guessing games, and played global games, reinforcing the Harmony Week message that ‘everyone has a role to play.’

Many students wore orange to show their support for inclusivity and diversity.

With hundreds of students joining in, the event successfully promoted cultural appreciation and unity, reflecting Horsham College’s commitment to fostering a welcoming and diverse community.
