Junior badminton season wrapped up
The Rainbow Junior Badminton Wind–Up and Basket Tea was a huge success, with all the parents and siblings joining us for the Presentations.
I would like to thank all the families who supplied the beautiful meal and helped in the kitchen, setting up the tables and chairs and then packing it all away and cleaning up.
I would like to thank the children and parents for the cards, gifts and flowers.
We played our usual 3 doubles sets but we didn’t have time to play the single this week.
We played 13 weeks but the results cover the 12 weeks.
The only junior player who played every week was Emma Saul and Eli Simpson so congratulation to our winners and all our players.
Presentations - Girls Most Doubles Sets Won was a tie between Lily Saul and Felicity Keller with 17 sets.
Boys Most Doubles sets won by Tim McIntosh with 23 sets.
Girls Runners - Up was Evie Simpson with 14 sets.
Boys Runner - Up was Callum Fuller & Eli Simpson both with 22 sets.
Girls Most Single Sets won was Lily Saul with 7 sets.
Boys Most Single Sets won was Trim McIntosh with 9 sets.
Girls Runner - Up was Emma Saul with 6 sets.
