Karen Fuller elected president

The patchwork group recently held their annual meeting.

Lynne Gould and Pam Clugston have been at the helm for two years so it was time for them to take a break for a while.

Julie Puckle continues as the ever reliable treasurer.

It was decided to keep the membership fee at $30 for the year.

This payment is due now.

In November nineteen ladies travelled to Dimboola for Christmas lunch.

Most people arrived early, had time to check out the shops and have coffee and cake.

After the meal there was much hilarity, with the unveiling of the many items made from the ugly materials given by Pam as a challenge.

This year instead of a Kris Kringle a donation was made to support brain cancer research.

The first general meeting of the year will be in February.

Planning for the year will take place then.

A mystery quilt will be the first activity, also in February.

The biannual exhibition is to be held in April.

New members are invited to join the group.

Come along with any craft work, your mending or just come for a chat.

All are welcome.

You can find us on Saturdays at the Historical Society building in Austin Street (the old limestone school).
