Lions changeover
The Dimboola Lions welcomed Nhill Lion Shirley Blackwood to induct office bearers for the coming year.

The incoming president is Lion Paul Lehmann, taking over from Lion Rod McKenzie.
Other office bearers are Jan John as secretary, Debbie Clark as treasurer, Greg Mackenzie as membership officer, Lou Catania as depot manager and La Vergne Lehmann as minute secretary.
The award for Lion of the Year went to Debbie Clark.
Outgoing president Rod McKenzie outlined the achievements of the Dimboola Lions this year, including the continuation of providing volunteers for the Driver Reviver site at Lochiel, the Good Friday Appeal event in conjunction with Dimboola Community Bank and running the Container Deposit machine.
The Lions updated and renovated the Lochiel Driver Reviver building while running the site over the school holidays and Easter and Anzac long weekends in April.
He also mentioned the work volunteers do for the cardboard and bulka bag recycling at the Lions Depot, barbecue and cool room hire for community events and providing Container Deposit bins for the Wimmera Steampunk festival.
Dimboola Dollars was also a success with the bushfire recovery program designed to help local traders and the community to spend locally.
