McRae, Williams complete three-peat
Horsham golfers Carolyn McRae and Joan Williams have won the Horsham Golf Club Golden Putter 4BBB Par for an amazing third year in a row.
The wimmers of the Horsham Golf Club Golden Putter 4BBB Par for a third consecutive year are Carolyn McRae and Joan Williams.
This year they had a score of 9 up and narrowly won after a countback.
A field of 68 ladies including visitors from surrounding golf clubs provided strong competition in this annual event, which is sponsored by Horsham Doors and Glass.
Runners-up, also with a score of 9 up, were Jenni Pike & Val Linke from Hamilton.
In third place were Fleur Finlayson from Serviceton and Amanda Brownsea from Nhill with 8 up.
Horsham members Lyn McCrae and Louise Nield finished fourth with 7 up.
Nearest the pins on the par-three holes were Sue Sanford from Warracknabeal on the 2nd, Jenni Pike from Hamilton on the 8th, Debbie Simpson of Horsham on the 11th and Fleur Finlayson from Serviceton on the 13th.
