A crane is lifting steel members into place, marking a key milestone in the $3 million project.

The upgraded pavilion will house modern facilities to support netball players and the wider sporting community.

The Victorian and federal governments' Local Roads and Community Infrastructure Fund is fully funding the project, which builders say they expect to complete before the end of this year.

Council staff recently installed new light globes at Horsham City Oval to keep the venue at full capacity for evening training and events.

The team regularly maintains lighting and other infrastructure across council-managed sporting fields to support local clubs and provide safe, well-lit spaces for sport and recreation.
