Red Cross community mobilisation officer Victoria, Natalie Motee, wrote a report of the day and thanked everyone for their support.

I’d like to take a moment to sincerely thank each and every one of you for being here today and for your ongoing support of the Hopetoun Branch of Australian Red Cross.

Since the year 2000, this incredible branch has raised a remarkable $76,651.62 - a true reflection of the dedication, generosity, and spirit of this community.

Through floods, heatwaves, and fires, Hopetoun has stood strong.

Your resilience and unwavering support have not only helped Australian Red Cross continue its vital work, but have also strengthened the bonds within this town.

To all the members and volunteers - past and present - who have given their time, energy, and heart over the years: thank you.

Your efforts have made a lasting impact, and today we celebrate you.

Events like this are more than just a gathering - they contribute directly to continuing all the amazing work within the community.

They remind us of the power of coming together for a shared purpose.

Thank you again for your ongoing support of the Australian Red Cross.

Your commitment makes a real difference.

– NATALIE MOTEE
