At Minyip, the Panthers elected to bat against Donald Jeffcott, with Hugh Weidemann’s knock of 62 leading the home side to 9/163 off their 40 overs.

A 10th-wicket partnership of 33 from Nicholas McIntyre (30 not out) and Scott McCurdy (13 not out) helped boost the Panthers' total.

Bayley Burke was the pick of the Donald Jeffcott bowlers, finishing with 3/14 off eight overs, while Chase Campbell had 2/17.

In response, Josh Gilmour scored an impressive 52, but the Panthers’ bowling attack proved too strong, bowling the visitors out for 102 in the 25th over.

Weidemann starred again with 3/15, with McCurdy (3/19) and Ryder Hudson (2/20) also contributing vital wickets to help their side win by 58 runs.

At Dudley Cornell Park, the decision to bowl paid dividends for the Saints, dismissing the Colts for 104.

Colts skipper Beau Purchase led with 46 as Brock Hamerston (4/17) and Mark Crafter (2/8) led the way for the Saints.

Despite two wickets in the eighth over from Alex Baker (2/14), the Saints chased down the required 105 runs with more than 12 overs to spare to win by eight wickets.

Sarmad Saif backed up his half-century from round one to finish with 56 not out, supported by 23 not out by Archie Sostheim.

At Anzac Park, St Mary’s elected to bat against Brim Kellalac Sheep Hills, with the hosts finishing with 6/140 from their 40 overs.

Gary Fernandez led St Mary’s with 67 from 91 balls, while Connor McGinniss (2/11) and Sam Tickner (2/20) were the pick of Brim KSH’s bowlers.

In return, Barry Schilling (31) and Graeme Holland (33) put on a 75-run opening partnership, but three quick wickets disrupted the momentum for Brim KSH.

Needing 22 runs off the last two overs, Aiden Ciemcioch (26 not out) and Sam Tickner (24 not out) got the visitors six runs away with two balls to spare, but two dot balls from Matt Hartnett secured the victory for St Mary’s as Brim KSH finished on 3/135.

Cooper Preston (2/20) and Jed Hartnett were the wicket-takers for the victors.

At Nhill, the clash between West Wimmera and the Tigers was called off shortly into the second innings.

The Tigers elected to bat, where Scott Marks (80) and Chris Eagle (35) helped the side to 3/145 from their 40 overs.

Luke Smith led West Wimmera in the bowling with figures of 2/19.

West Wimmera faced one over before the game was called off.

The game between Swifts-Great Western and the Bullants was cancelled before play began.
