Rams win on the road against Cougars
Natimuk United grabbed its first win of the season, defeating Kaniva Leeor United 42-39.

Rams' coach Di Hayes praised the resolve of her players and the club's netballers as a whole, with many playing more than one game across the day.
"We had a fair few out across the board, with many unwell across the grades.
"Given the conditions, I applaud all the girls for getting through the day like they did.
“I was super happy with how the girls just applied themselves and came away with a clean sweep of wins.”
Part of Natimuk United’s success was Emma Uebergang’s high volume of scoring; the goal shooter scored 32 goals at 85 per cent accuracy.
At the other end of the court, Cougars’ Ruby Gordon (14 goals), Carlee Feder (13) and Tahlia Pearson (12) gave the visitors plenty of headaches.
Despite the pressure, Hayes said her defensive unit stood tall all day.
“Keeta Scown played well in goal defense all game,” she said.
“She got the job done against several opponents.
“Keeta provided a massive amount of drive for us.”
