Former AFL star Andrew Moore will lead Dimboola into 2025 with co-coach Dean Toet.

It will be the first game under new co-coaches Dean Toet and former AFL player Andrew Moore.

Moore, the overall ninth draft pick in 2009, played 60 games at the highest level with Port Adelaide and Richmond, winning a VFL premiership with the former in 2018.

However, the key midfielder is no stranger to the yellow and gold, playing for Dimboola in 2024 14 times, where he was named in the best on 12 occasions.

The Burra's are using round one to celebrate its 30th year as a club; however, Toet, Moore, and their legion of recruits hope to spoil the celebration.

Former Roo Jonathon Ross is back in the squad after a year with his former club, Red Hill, from the Mornington Peninsula Football League.

Ross also won a premiership with Southern Districts in the Northern Territory Football League in March.

He joins a long list of players with NTFL experience, including former Dimboola coach Jack Landt and his brother Dylan.

After missing the finals in 2024, Minyip-Murtoa will be keen to make an impact this season.

The Burras recruited strongly during the offseason, adding Joe Clancy (Osborne), Aidan Kidd (South Belgrave), Cooper Anderson (Donald), and Dustin Okely (Ararat).

Jack Boschen returns to the club and adds strength to its backline.

The club also retained 2024 seniors best and fairest in Kade Petering and runner up in Luke Fisher.
