School celebrated children's success
Ss Michael and John’s Primary School acknowledged and celebrated children’s success during the ‘100 days of prep’ event at school on Tuesday, July 29.

The day was about celebrating all the growth these little learners have made over the past 100 days, as well as all the learning and growing they will continue to do in their learning journey.
The school held a shared lunch where we connected all the tables in the learning community into a long line, creating a space for students to sit together and share a meal.
Prep class teacher Ebonie Janetzki said the day was celebrated with a lot of different activities.
“We celebrated with some fairy bread featuring hundreds of sprinkles, a juice box, and party blowers,” she said.
School principal, Louise Chesterfield, said it’s a fantastic way to acknowledge students’ growth.
“100 days of Prep is a wonderful way to acknowledge and celebrate the success of our children’s transition to Prep and the significant learning and growth they have already achieved,” she said.
Each student received a certificate from their classroom teacher and a packet of Smarties for being 100 days smarter.
The learning support officers hid 100 bubbles around the school yard for the Preps to find.
It was a day full of laughter, joy, and connection.
