Spirit of Football Award: WFNL round 7
Wimmera Football Netball League's round 7 winner of the Spirit of Football Award for is Warrack Eagles under 17 footballer Seth Keam.
Keam received his award from Warracknabeal police officer Leading Senior Constable Peter Taylor at Anzac Park oval in Warracknabeal before the game on Saturday.
Warrack Eagles' junior football co-ordinator Graeme Holland gathered the players together and introduced Sen Sgt Taylor, who spoke about the award and what it stood for and the role of sportsmanship and the importance of participating in team sport within the community.
Keam is a strong running defender with great endurance.
He has been a leader on the field for the Eagles' under 17s team this season as captain.
He has also displayed wonderful sportsmanship throughout the year so far, making him a very worthy recipient of this award.
The Warrack Eagles appreciates the work that the Blue Ribbon Foundation does in the community.
The club is also very proud of Seth Keam and his achievements and wishes him well for the remainder of the year.
