Spirit of Netball Award: HDFNL round 8
Spirit of Netball award is Kalkee 17 and under netballer Scarlett Abbott.
Abbott is pictured after receiving her award at the Kalkee football ground netball courts from Horsham police officer and Kalkee supporter Rebecca Harvey on Saturday.
Abbott has been a netball- and football-loving player at Kalkee Football Netball Club since the very young age of eight.
She began her netball journey in U13s at the age of 12 and presently plays U17 and B grade as a junior development player.
Abbott loves everything about sport but plays ultimately to be surrounded by her team mates (who she adores).
Her inner spirit is fuelled by perseverance, fairness, strength, fitness and knowing she is part of a great community.
She is known to help out when needed and support the younger kids, and she always wears a ready smile.
