Sporting complex turns 50

The Sporting Complex, now known as The Community Sports Centre, recently underwent extensive building repairs, and now the facility has marked 50 years.

Major repairs at the Warracknabeal Leisure Centre have now been completed with user groups now allowed in. Table tennis was hosted on Monday night in the facility for the first time this year. Pictured in the refurbished space is Yarriambiack Shire Council mayor Kylie Zanker (middle front), deupty mayor Andrew McLean (left), chief operating officer Tim Rose, councillors Corinne Heintze, Karly Kirk and Melinda Keel.
