One dead after crash along a stretch of central Victorian highway
Police continuing to investigate incident on January 16.

One person is dead after a vehicle crashed into a tree in the early hours of January 16.
Emergency crews were called after reports of it leaving the road along the Pyrenees Highway at about 2.30am.
The crash unfolded on a stretch of road south-west of Avoca.
Police were investigating the cause.

The driver was the only person in the vehicle and could not be revived at the scene.
