Suspicious device found

Bomb Response Unit officers were dispatched to Plant Avenue, Horsham, on Monday, June 9, after a suspicious device was discovered at around 10.20am.

Horsham Police cordoned off Plant Avenue to Stawell Road, including the Wimmera Bridge walkway, until the officers from Melbourne arrived later in the afternoon.

The device was marked safe at around 4.45pm and the investigation remains ongoing.

Police are appealing for public assistance to help identify the person/s involved in this incident.
