Table tennis under way
In table tennis, season 2025 began on Monday night, May 12, at Brim Sports Centre.
With seven teams lining up – the same number as in 2024 – players were asked to be ready to start at 7.30pm.
Team names this season have been taken from areas in around Warracknabeal: Brim, Kellalac, Bangerang, Wallup, Boolite, Warracknabeal and Galaquil.
At the weekend players were told their team's name.
The season has started at Brim Sports Centre and will continue at Warracknabeal Leisure Centre once it's ready for use.
Warracknabeal Table Tennis Association secretary Owen Osborne said "numbers at practice sessions have been good".
"We hope everyone's looking forward to the new season," Osborne said.
