The two sides met in round one this year, where the Southern Roos prevailed 114-76.

Both sides have had mixed seasons, with Harrow Balmoral suffering a couple of losses for the first time in over two years, amidst an injury-riddled season; yet, they have been able to win several close encounters.

Conversely, Taylor's Lake have secured two wins, including an impressive early-season victory over Kaniva Leeor, and has challenged several top teams.

The Lakers will enter the game with confidence, having matched up against Harrow after an impressive showing in last week's 88-80 loss to third-placed Pimpinio.

But the reigning premiers are clicking at the right time of year, as evidenced by their 84-44 victory over Laharum last week.

Speaking after last week's victory, Harrow Balmoral coach Jai Thompson will hope to replicate their strong ball movement.

“It's been a massive focus for us, our ball movement, over the last few weeks,” Thompson said.

“We've put in work to move the footy, by hand, by foot, rather than trying to rely on that down-the-line kick, and it's starting to work for us.

“We've got really good players on the outside that can run and carry, so just to be able to try and get it to them, use a short kick or get a handball, and then get it out wide to our quick runners.

“It just means it shuffles the defence around and gives our forwards the best opportunity to be able to lead in space.”
