Two fatal crashes under investigation
Emergency servies are investigating two fatal collisions in the region over the weekend, with further crashes highlighting the dangers faced on rural roads.

Victoria Police are investigating a fatal collision in Clear Lake after a Nissan Dualis SUV collided with a Ford Ranger on Jallumba-Dougla Road on Sunday, December 21, about 3.10pm.
The female passenger of the Nissan died at the scene and has yet to be formally identified.
The male passenger of the Nissan was airlifted to the hospital with serious injuries.
The female Nissan driver sustained non-life-threatening injuries, and the male Ford Ranger driver sustained minor injuries; both were taken to the hospital by road.
Earlier in the day, a man in his 20s died following a single-vehicle crash in Rich Avon East.
Police are investigating the circumstances of the fatal incident, which occurred around 7am on the Donald-Stawell Road.
It is understood the driver, who was the sole occupant of the vehicle, lost control and left the road before colliding with trees.
He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Paramedics called
On Saturday, December 20, emergency services were called to an incident on Dooen Road just after 10pm, following a two-car collision.
A primary school aged boy was taken to hospital in a stable condition.
