Veteran educationist still connected with community
After more than half a century shaping young minds across the Wimmera-Mallee, Hopetoun resident Joan Solly has stepped into a new chapter of life - one deeply connected to community, creativity and local history.
Veteran Wimmera-Mallee educationist Joan Solly is embracing community life in Hopetoun and Rainbow after 52 years in different schools of the region - joining local history and creative groups, writing a family history book and pursuing her passions for gardening, theatre and horses.
