Year 6 graduation celebrated
Warracknabeal Primary School’s Year 6 students marked the end of their primary school journey at a graduation celebration held on Thursday, December 11.

The evening began at 5.30pm with an awards ceremony at the Warracknabeal Education Precinct Stadium, attended by parents, school staff and guests, followed by a celebration dinner at The Local at 6.30pm for students, staff and guests.
Principal Chris Kellett and Grade 6 teacher Miss Jorja Polglase acknowledged the students’ achievements and contributions throughout their time at Warracknabeal Primary School.
Several students received special awards on the night. Mia Franklin received the Parents’ Club Award ($50), presented by Teagan Roche.
Jonathan Doidge was awarded the Lions Club Literacy Incentive Award ($150), and Thomas Page received the Lions Club Numeracy Incentive Award ($150), both presented by Emma Mansfield. Esmae Clark was recognised with the Warrack Eagles Sportsmanship Award ($50), presented by Jules Phelan.
Harvey Thomas received the Bill Jefferies’ Citizenship Award ($50), presented by Miss Polglase, while Zac Webster received the Ignite Award, which included a medallion and a gift.
Warracknabeal Primary School thanked all sponsors and presenters for their generous donations, with all award money going towards the students’ future secondary college fees.
