Horsham City ends Dimboola win streak

After progressing through Saturday’s semifinals, Wendy Sleep defeated Jan Keating in Sunday’s ladies' final, while Allan Thompson defeated Robin Shaw in the men’s final. The victory meant Sleep defended her championship win from last season, while Thompson has now taken out three out of the past four championships in the men’s event. Sleep and Thompson will now progress to the Wimmera Playing Area Champion of Champions event on Saturday, January 24, and Sunday, January 25, where they will go against the singles club champions from every club in the area.
