The former Horsham basketballer spent the 2011-12 season with the Kings, starring before he suffered a season-ending knee injury in January.
The 190cm guard scored 236 points from 17 games after crossing from Adelaide 36ers where he reignited his NBL career in 2010-11.
Bruce, who has played 61 NBL league games, averaged 13.9 points and 4.4 assists a game in his first season with the Kings.
Sydney Kings head coach Shane Heal said he was thrilled Bruce had recommitted to the club.
"We know how talented he is and, personally, I think he is yet to show his true value to the team," Heal said.
"We will be playing Aaron in more of a shooting guard role, where he will be very difficult to defend.
"The coaching team will be working with Aaron to exploit his explosive scoring and passing ability, which I don't think even he realises is one of his greatest strengths.
"We are all really looking forward to working with Aaron and to watching him play a valuable and very exciting role for us."
Fellow Horsham export Mitch Creek re-signed with Adelaide 36ers for a further two seasons on Wednesday last week.
