The Adelaide 36ers forward went down midway through the final quarter against the Townsville Crocs at Adelaide Arena and played no further part in the match.
It was a sad end to Creek's night after scoring 11 points, which included a buzzer-beater three-pointer moments before the final change. Creek responded to well wishes from friends and family on Facebook yesterday morning, thanking them for their kind words.
"Woke up early this morning to see and read so many amazing messages, on here and also on Twitter," Creek posted.
"I can't describe to you how much it means. Thank you everybody."
Creek, 20, has played 60 NBL matches since signing with the 36ers in 2010.
