The annual event starts on Saturday, August 11.
From August 13 to August 17, students will devote their lunch times to fun science activities.
Science teacher Megan Vercoe said there would be demonstrations, hands-on activities and a spelling bee.
She said she hoped all students would get involved.
Activities include making bouncy balls and slime.
Students have already made elephant toothpaste using food dye, detergent, yeast and hydrochloric peroxide.
Mrs Vercoe said primary schools would also join in the fun.
She said the staff would run the projects in the school's new science and language centre.
