Member for Swan Hill Peter Walsh announced on Friday that Birchip Watchem Hockey Club and Charlton Golf Club would receive grants worth $500 each.
The Birchip club will receive one grant and Charlton two.
Mr Walsh said the Country Action Grant Scheme and Victalent grants were a great way for sporting clubs and associations to support participants, coaches and administrators to take their involvement that extra step.
"Each day, thousands of Victorians go above and beyond to support their sports and the Victalent grants are a great assistance in meeting travel costs which can often be potential barriers to training, competition and allowing participants to realise their sporting dreams," he said.
