The Michael O’Leary-trained mare won the seven-horse, 1650-metre event on Boxing Day by three lengths ahead of second-placed Snip ‘n’ Run and third-placed Star Act.
Nhill and District Racing Club secretary Tony Gebert said it was pleasing to see a good turn-out at the track.
“The weather was kind to us again and it was a really good day,” he said.
“It’s just good to see everyone enjoying themselves.
“We had many locals back and having a good time.”
The day also featured a Fashions on the Field event and children’s activities.
“The Fashions on the Field is always popular, especially among the younger ones,” Mr Gebert said.
This year’s cup also featured a new 2100-metre event, which was won by Count The Loot.
“It was good for the crowd to see the horses run past the finishing post twice – that doesn’t happen very often,” Mr Gebert said.
