The monthly competition 'Places to see in Victoria's Wild West' encourages people to submit a photo of an iconic scene in the region.
'Harvest' a photo of stalks of wheat at Lorquon taken by Michelle Marshall was the November winner.
Wimmera Mallee Tourism chairman and Buloke Shire councillor Stuart McLean said the photo represented one of the features of the Wimmera-Mallee at this time of year.
"There are so many wonderful opportunities for photography in our region and I encourage locals and visitors to take the time to enter the competition," he said.
"Entries can be viewed via wimmeramalleetourism.com.au or the group's Facebook page. The photos remind us all of the great tourism attractions that are in our backyards."
Cr McLean said the competition was open to anyone.
He said entries should be free of watermarks and should focus on attractions in the region such as lakes, rivers, parks and gardens, camping grounds, festive events and hidden tourist getaways.
"Conditions include requirements that photo and video entries must be taken within the boundaries of Buloke, Hindmarsh, West Wimmera and Yarriambiack shires," he said.
Cr McLean said people could visit wimmeramalleetourism.com.au or email photocomp@wimmeramalleetourism.com.au to enter.
One winner is selected each month and the photograher receives $50.
