The authority has warned Tuesday's conditions are set to be the most dangerous this week, with extremely hot temperatures and strong winds forecast throughout the region.
The 55,100-hectare Northern Grampians Complex fire - which has been burning for more than a week and a half - is behind containment lines but the CFA has urged Halls Gap residents to attend a community meeting at 10am on Tuesday at the Halls Gap community hall for an update of the fire and expected fire conditions.
Horsham Incident Controller Russell Manning said it was important everyone remained vigilant this week.
"Residents should not become complacent," he said.
"Talk to everyone you live with and your neighbours about your plans, so you all know what to do on a hot, dry, windy day."
The Bureau of Meteorology has forecast a top of 42 degrees for Horsham on Tuesday.
Wednesday is set to be cooler with a top of 33 degrees, but temperatures for the next four days are forecast to reach 40 degrees or higher.
