A STAWELL man has been charged with conduct endangering life following a pursuit in Stawell yesterday.

Police allege the man, 33, was driving a Ford sedan south on Seaby Street about 9.25am.
"Officers attempted to intercept the car and followed it to Stone Street where the driver accelerated to 90 km/ph in the 50 km/ph zone," Senior Constable Adam West said.
"The car was intercepted a short time later at a petrol station in Longfield Street."
The driver has been charged with numerous traffic offences, including conduct endangering life, evade police, manner dangerous drive whilst suspended and speed dangerous.
He was bailed to attend Stawell Magistrates’ Court on April 27.
