The Bombers had been soundly beaten in its first two matches, including a 93-point rout at the hands of Harrow-Balmoral at the weekend.
A capitulation against Pimpinio tomorrow would mean the Bombers' hopes for finals are beyond recovery after three rounds of football.
But the Tigers continue to struggle with significant issues of their own.
Alex Hill, Todd O'Connor, Dylan Hartwich, Tex Hernon and Luke Riddell will all miss with injuries. O'Connor injured his knee and might miss the rest of the season.
The loss of assistant coach Hill one of the few seasoned veterans on Pimpinio's list will also be keenly felt by the Tigers.
Noradjuha-Quantong coach Jarred Combe said his side could not afford to take any chances tomorrow. "We've been disappointing in the first two weeks, so we really want to hit the winners board," he said.
Combe said his side would play more attacking, aggressive football.
Tory Chapple comes in for his first game in red and black after overcoming an ankle injury, but Jordan Huff will miss. Pimpinio coach Mal Coutts said a difficult season for his players had become tougher.
"We've got five injuries this week and not too many to come back in, so it's going to be a tough month," he said.
"That's the way it goes, so we'll hold on and see how we go for numbers and what happens tomorrow."
