With Heathcote not fielding an under-14 interleague side, the special East versus West match was organised.
East comprised players from Rupanyup, Kalkee, Taylors Lake, Swifts and Pimpinio, while Harrow-Balmoral, Natimuk United, Edenhope-Apsley, Noradjuha-Quantong and Laharum players formed the West team.
West led by two goals at three quarter time, and held on for a two-point win.
Riley Jervis kicked the lone goal for West in the last quarter to put them in fromt.
West coach Tim Kelly said it was a great learning experience for the players and a good initiative by the league with no interleague match scheduled.
Corey Williams was named the best player for West, and Oscar Crosgrove for East.
