Irwin competed at Hisense Arena on Thursday and Saturday in the level eight under category one of the top divisions of men's gymnastics.
He was one of only four gymnasts selected for the Victorian boys under 12-14 team.
Gymnasts completed routines on each of the six apparatuses on both days, with their aggregate score used to determine individual and team standings.
Irwin set personal best scores on four apparatuses on Thursday, with 9.066 on parallel bars, 9.633 on high bar, 7.133 on pommel horse and 9.100 on rings.
He also matched his previous best on floor and his first vault routine.
Despite the impressive scores, Irwin was fifth in the individual standings after day one.
He surpassed himself on Saturday, setting new personal best scores in every apparatus.
Irwin posted massive scores of 9.533 on rings, 9.666 on parallel bars, 10.133 for high bar, 10.566 on floor, 9.200 on pommel horse and 9.000 for his second vault routine. The stellar performance saw him jump to second overall with an aggregate of 114.146, earning him a silver medal.
It surpassed his pre-championships goal of a top six finish.
He received another silver medal for Victoria's second-place finish in the team standings, and took bronze for his third-place finishes in both high bar and parallel bars.
Irwin's mother Leonie said it was an outstanding effort.
"Hudson pretty well smashed his previous personal bests in every apparatus," she said.
"I think he got in a very good head space and was in the zone.
"With the rings for instance, he always had trouble with the dismount, but he did it perfectly and I think he knew he was in for a good day."
WestVic Academy of Sport supports Irwin, and executive officer Rob Ward said it was great to see him succeed.
"I am speechless to see 'Hudo' set a full set of personal best performances in one session simply because it is such a difficult accomplishment for any athlete," he said.
Irwin's next competition is the state championships, which will be at the State Netball and Hockey Centre in Parkville next month.
