The club hosted five action-packed days of golf for its 94th annual tournament.
President Les Newton said it had been terrific.
"We have had about 400 players already usually we only get 400 over all five days," he said.
"We had a full field on Saturday and a full field yesterday.
"Each day has been better than the past few years.
"We had 143 players here yesterday."
The tournament kicked off on Thursday with the Bet Bussau Memorial women 18-hole stroke competition.
Mr Newton said the main tournament started on Friday with a four-ball best-ball par competition for men and women.
On Saturday there was a four-ball stableford and yesterday there was a mixed pinehurst.
"We continue today with the men's 36-hole stroke event," he said.
Mr Newton said the club was not sure why this year's tournament was so successful.
"We can't understand it it is exceeding our expectations," he said.
"We aren't complaining though."
Mr Newton said players had come from about 30 different clubs.
