The Warracknabeal export played his 150th AFL game for the Eagles at the weekend, earning him life membership at the club.
Rosa, 27, would have become an unrestricted free agent at the end of the season.
The midfielder has played 13 of the Eagles' 14 games this year and said he was excited about the direction the club was heading in.
"I was here in 2005 and 2006 when the club played in grand finals and won a premiership and I have been around for some other exciting finals campaigns," he said.
"I am confident we can build towards that with this group and I want to be a part of it.
"I have been here for 10 years and it definitely feels like home."
Rosa has been in superb form this season, averaging 25.1 disposals per match.
The Eagles will take on Sydney at home on Sunday.
