Arguably the match of the round is undefeated Beulah hosting the second-place Sea Lake-Nandaly Tigers.
A win to the Tigers would put them on equal footing with the Blues, but another win to Beulah would cement a top-two finish and go a long way towards securing top of the ladder.
Beulah got an early jump on the Tigers and never let their foot off the accelerator in their last meeting.
Dennis Redden has been dominant in front of goals for the Blues this year, and coach Lachy Foott is starting to provide some headaches for opposition defenders.
Luke Martin has been terrific for the Tigers down back this season, and will need to clamp down on one of the Blues’ targets.
There is plenty of firepower in the Sea Lake forward line with Cliff Ryan, Simon Weekly and Jarred Arentz.
Sam Martin has been holding down full-back well for Beulah, but will need plenty of support from Tim Sandford and Fabian Dorbolo.
Jeparit-Rainbow will be looking to record its first win of the season.
The Lakers were good in the first half against Beulah last round, with their pressure around the ground a highlight.
The side must find more avenues to goal in order to put on scoreboard pressure.
Elliot Bath uses his speed around the ground well, and is capable of kicking a bag if not watched by Hopetoun defenders.
Walpeup-Underbool is coming off a good win and will be taking that momentum into Saturday's match against Woomelang-Lascelles.
The Cats have been flying under the radar this season, but should not be written off just yet.
Coming off the bye, they will be keen for a big win to keep in touch with the top two.
Kane Munro has had a good couple of weeks up forward for the Roos, and David Piasente is continually in the best.
The Cats have had plenty of contributors, but they will be looking for Corey Kelly and Jayden Lonergan to put in big performances if they are to win on Saturday.
