A public hearing into the project started at Federation University's Stawell campus on July 2 and will wrap up on Friday.
Stawell Gold Mines general manager Troy Cole said the panel would reconvene on Wednesday after a day off.
He said mine representatives finished the company's submission on Monday.
"Today, Wednesday, there will be further community submissions, followed by a site tour on Thursday," he said.
"On Friday, Stawell Gold Mines will have right of reply in light of everything that has been said."
Mr Cole said representatives from GWMWater, Northern Grampians Shire Council and a number of government agencies - including the Environment Protection Authority, Earth Resources Regulation Victoria, Minerals Development Victoria and the Department of Health - had already addressed the panel.
"It's been quite a considered process," he said.
Mr Cole said the hearing would cover all aspects of the proposed Big Hill Enhanced Development Project, including noise, blasting, rehabilitation, economics, social impacts, air quality assessment, public health effects and real time air emissions monitoring and response.
He said 44 people had asked to address the panel , and both panel and community members were given an opportunity to question speakers or seek clarification.
"If a technical expert is presenting, people who have submitted to the environmental effects statement have the right to ask questions, as well as the panel members," he said.
Mr Cole said participation levels had varied throughout the three weeks of the hearing.
"We've had between half-a-dozen to a dozen people there each day," he said.
The panel will also consider 350 written submissions in response to the project's environmental effects statement before making its recommendations to the Planning Minister.
