KANIVA Playgroup will raise money for a new playground with its annual Christmas in July market on Sunday.

Organiser Kelly Meyer said this year's market would feature a number of new entrepreneurs coming to the market for the first time.
"Horsham's Kawaii Kids will be bring their exciting, cool range of children's clothes and accessories and other fabulous children's stalls including Down Lover's Lane and Chaos Kids will be there, to name just a few," she said.
"Kaniva business Soy Bliss will bring their gorgeous smelling candles.
"There will be lots of food stalls, including a cake stall by the playgroup parents and the Kaniva College will cook a barbecue."
Other items for sale include fresh produce, plants, kitchenware and skin care products.
"Kaniva Guides will be on hand to do face painting, crazy hair and temporary tattoos for all children ," Mrs Meyer said.
"Kaniva Playgroup will also have a colouring station for children to explore."
Mrs Meyer said the playgroup would draw its major raffle, with the first prize two nights accommodation at Halls Gap and a pamper and champagne hamper.
"There will also be 10 other draws of wonderful mystery prizes to the won," she said.
She said tickets were available from playgroup parents or at Kaniva businesses.
The market will be at Kaniva Shire Hall from 10am to 2pm.
"This is a fundraising event to raise desperately needed money for the development of a playground at the Kaniva Early Education Centre," Mrs Meyer said.
She said the centre was home to the playgroup and other Wimmera Uniting Care childcare services.
