Last time they met: Round seven, 2014. Warrack Eagles 12.11 (83) d Minyip-Murtoa 12.10 (82).
BOTH Minyip-Murtoa and the Warrack Eagles will have plenty to play for when they clash at Minyip on Saturday.
The Eagles are locked in a two-way race with Horsham for the minor premiership and a break in the first week of finals, while the fourth-placed Burras are dangerously close to fifth-placed Dimboola and sixth-placed Ararat.
A win for the Burras would see them remain two games inside the top five and all but secure a finals berth, but a loss would throw the door wide open.
Just one point separated the sides earlier this year after the Eagles ran down the Burras to snatch the
narrowest of victories.
Both coaches are expecting an equally hard-fought contest tomorrow.
Warrack Eagles coach Tim Inkster said his side would welcome back key defender Ben Harrison and key forward Jesse Murphy.
"If we slip up, top goes out of the equation," he said.
"You want to go into finals pretty confident with a bit of form behind you.
"They're always tough to beat if we're not prepared to play we'll get found out."
Minyip-Murtoa coach Scott Arnold said his side was desperate to bounce back from a disappointing loss two rounds ago.
"It's another big game against top opposition," he said.
"They're the best balanced team in the competition I think and they're fairly hard to stop when they get going.
"If we can produce our best footy, we're confident we can compete with them."
Burras John Delahunty and Justin Garth have been in consistent form, while Clinton Midgley enjoyed his last outing against the Eagles, kicking six goals.
Arnold said the Burras would line up with a similar side to a fortnight ago.
Inkster said use of the footy could prove the difference.
"You've certainly got to win your own footy against Minyip-Murtoa it's a good tackling and pressure team," he said.
"If we do win it, then we've got to keep it and be efficient going forward.
"If we don't finish off we know they'll come back at us."
