The exhibition, Yuleka: Heart of Country, in now on display at Horsham’s Redrock Books and Gallery.
Ms Harradine said it was part of Horsham’s Art Is... festival.
‘‘The exhibition was formally opened by Aunty Nancy Harrison of the Wotjobaluk people,’’ she said.
‘‘The artwork focuses on the importance of culture and connection, along with the ongoing process of learning new art and craft skills.’’
Ms Harradine said the exhibition enabled her to work in a large format, with paintings that reflected moments in time and adolescent experiences and learning.
‘‘Some of my larger paintings were inspired by young women’s spiritual and growth journeys, as a result of spending time with other clans and being welcomed to be part of their journey in learning new cultural skills.
‘‘I love the challenge of learning new ways to explore connections and make links with other artists, through making a possum skin cloak or capturing cultural stories in mixed media.’’
Ms Harradine said the exhibition, on display until June 30, enabled her to express pride in her culture.
