Organiser Annie Austin said the exhibition was at the town’s Purple Starfish community shop and called for photos of animals.
She said they received lots of entries.
“We had some great photos,” she said.
“We have been running exhibitions for about two years now – this is our sixth one.
“Our next exhibition will be for scenic or landscape photos.”
Mrs Austin said a lot of the photos come from children.
“We also have a lot of men entering and we accept photos from smart phones.
“It creates interest in the town and in photography, which is great.”
Mrs Austin said all the photos were framed and hung up in the Purple Starfish.
“We are going to move these animal photos to an exhibition in the window of the Kaniva Community Roadhouse,” she said.
She said all photography exhibitions were Kaniva-based, so the photo had to be taken in the area.
“We encourage people to get involved if they can.
“We seem to have some fantastic photographers in the region.”
Mrs Austin said the scenic exhibition would start at the end of January.
