The dream of playing elite footy has come true for the Horsham Saints junior who will join a strong Dockers outfit.
Tucker played for the North Ballarat Rebels in the TAC Cup.
A number of Victorian clubs were expected to take him before pick 27, however with some making surprise selections, he was still available at the end of the first round.
The Dockers pounced at pick 27, with coach Ross Lyon reading his name out at the Adelaide Exhibition Centre where the draft was held.
Tucker watched the coverage at home with family and friends.
He was unavailable for comment following the draft.
