The pregnant woman was shopping in Melbourne in early March and bought a few items of clothing for winter.
The warm clothes had remained in their bag until the weekend, when cooler weather set in across the Wimmera.
The woman was packing for an Easter weekend away and went to get one of the jumpers she bought.
She was shocked to find a pair of pants in the bag.
The pants were the same as a pair she had bought in Horsham only two weeks ago.
So terrible was her memory, she had bought the second pair without remembering she had already purchased the first pair in Melbourne about a week before.
Fortunately the first pair of pants were a bigger size, so the woman still has time to grow into them once the second pair becomes too tight for her baby bump.
