Horsham resident Samantha Roulstone said she saw the opportunity to love and care for the mini bulldog..
“I saw him on Gumtree and knew I had to add him to our family,” she said.
“I wanted to give him the best care possible.”
She said albino dogs had extremely sensitive skin and had to wear sunscreen at all times. She said albino dogs could also have kidney and liver issues.
Ms Roulstone said she wanted to make the pup’s life worthwhile.
“This boy is so special and I adore him,” she said. “I have named him Ray after Ray Charles.” Ms Roulstone is a dog lover.
“At 15 I volunteered for the RSPCA, which led me become a veterinary nurse,” she said.
“After 12 years, I started to really adore dogs and I like knowing they are cared for, loved and happy.”
Ms Roulstone said her dream was to open a shelter for unwanted dogs.
