Former staff members hosted a reunion to 40 years since the Firebrace Street store closed in 1976.
Organiser Bruce Abernethy said about 90 people went along to the event.
He said it was a great success.
“People raved about it,” he said.
The reunion included dinner at Olde Horsham.
Mr Abernethy said people travelled far and wide for the event, including some visitors who came all the way from Perth.
He said everyone enjoyed reminiscing with their former colleagues.
“Someone posted on Facebook that it was like being with family,” he said.
The store was the first shop in Horsham and started in 1849 by George Langlands.
His son John Langland succeeded him in 1861 and following his death in 1915, his three sons, Alfred, John and Frank continued the business as a partnership known as John Langlands and Sons
