A BALLARAT woman, age 42, was rescued from the Grampians National Park after she lost her footing on a return walk from the Pinnacle at about 1.15pm on Saturday.

Stawell SES, with support from Ararat, assisted Ambulance Victoria paramedics and Victoria Police officers to carry the woman out using a stretcher.
The woman was taken via our-wheel drive back down a track to the Sundial Road and was transferred to an awaiting ambulance.
The woman was taken to Stawell Hospital for treatment for a suspected broken ankle.
