First Constable Chris Thomson said two 12-year-old girls and a 13-year-old girl were arrested about 8.30pm Wednesday. The girls were charged with theft from a motor car, criminal damage, tampering with a motor vehicle, handling stolen goods and graffiti offences.
Const Thomson said all offences relate to incidents occurring on Wednesday between 2.30pm and 8.30pm.
“It seems to have started at Firebrace Street and Roberts Avenue, then on to the Kalkee Road overpass, Houston Street, Matthews Court, Florence Street, Dimboola Road, Federation Avenue and Kalimna Avenue," he said.
“From what we understand we believe there are victims who haven’t come forward yet. Anyone with damage or missing items should contact police.”
The three girls have been released pending summons to Horsham Magistrates’ Court at a later date.
