Bibby’s tally of 23 votes meant she finished four votes ahead of Demons’ Emma Bulwalda.
Abbie Avery and Melanie Scott finished joint third on 18 votes.
The result meant that the Demons had three of the top four but not the one that mattered the most.
The honour came as a surprise to Bibby in only her second year in the association.
“It feels pretty good,” she said.
“Especially when there’s lots of competition out there.”
Bibby thank the Minyip-Murtoa club for recruiting her and sister Billie last year.
“It’s not every year that you get to play in a grand final with your sister,” she said.
Her side will take on the Demons in the grand final.
“We’ve got to shut down their midcourt,” Bibby said.
“They’re fast pace with their ball movement.”
B Grade
Ararat’s Megan Shea was a run away winner in the B Grade count with 30 votes.
Megan adds to her previous Hatcher Medals with her first win the B Grade.
Holly Ruwoldt, Saints, finished second with 19 votes.
Stawell’s Chantal Thomas finished third by polling 13 votes.
C Grade
Dimboola’s Kellie Laverty claimed the C Grade netball best and fairest award by the narrowest of margins.
Laverty’s 21 votes were enough to hold out Warrack’s Elysia Preston by a solitary vote.
Laverty did not come to the medal count expecting to the win the award.
In equal third was Georgia Fleming, Ararat, and Amy Ward, Dimboola, on 19 votes.
